Today in Class
Students received new packets today as we moved into a new section that will cover operations with integers and rational numbers.
The class started with students wondering what Additive Inverse is. Before they were broken into groups they were instructed that some of the problems that they would be working on were in fact additive inverse. Those problems were:
They learned that Additive Inverse is “opposite quantities that combine to make zero.”
The groups completed a few other problems working with the location of integers on number lines.
