Continuing Adding and Subtracting Integers Using Models

Today in Class

Students continued working with chips and number lines to represent adding and subtracting integers.  In pairs at white boards around the room students worked on the following problems.  When students saw a “C” next to a problem they were to represent the problem using chips and when students saw a “N” next to the problem they were to represent the problem using a number line.  If students did not see a “C” or “N” then they were to just solve the problem.
