Today in Class

Class was very short today due to the 1/2 day schedule.  After reviewing last night’s learning opportunity the class played the 24 Game.  The rules of the game are simple.  Groups are given a card with 4 numbers.  Students must use all four numbers only once and they need add, subtract, multiply, or divide to get an answer of 24.

One way to solve the card below would be to start with dividing 2 by 2 which equals 1.  Then take the 1 and add it to 7 to make 8.  Finally use the 8 and multiply it by 3 to get 24.
